Monday morning rolls around and you can always tell pretty much instantly who in the office had a fun weekend! Over 7,500 people were questioned about their work and social habits in the Huffington Post, including questions about how much they earn at work and what they do when at home. The findings suggest a direct link between being intimate and being more successful at work!

The Theory
We all know that those intimate physical moments we have help release endorphins which make us feel happy, relaxed and confident so it may not be that surprising to read that there is evidence supporting the theory that people who have more intimate moments are often more successful at work. We can all relate to the positive feelings that surround these times, often we feel more secure and self-assured at our ability to share physical pleasure with someone and those feelings can last a while. So it seems natural that those who do it more carry those positive feelings for longer, often in to their daily lives and at work.

The Study
The study was conducted by economics professor Nick Drydakis who works for a labour market research organisation which adds credence to the findings, making it less of a theory and more of a thinking point. It has a knock-on effect: if you are happy at work and find yourself in a more successful position in which you earn more money, you may find yourself more desirable to the opposite sex, as higher-earners and people who exude confidence and charisma often find it easier to meet people. We are not surprised by the findings but think it’s a great way to get the less confident people thinking about how a cheeky flirt could lead to great things in the world of work!
