No Oral in an Affair? No Affair.

65% of women and 68% of men when quizzed on the topic of having an affair see it that no oral means no deal when deciding to go to the dark side to do the deed.

Adding to this opinion also, a lack of oral sex actually leads us to having more affairs in the first place; for 72% of women and 85% of men, it’s an important thing to be having in a relationship. And we completely agree!

Unsurprisingly, we far prefer to receive than to give in this instance and while 77% of women and 72% of men enjoy giving oral – there’s still some deficit in the enjoyment stakes.

Additionally, a small proportion (11%) of women don’t enjoy receiving oral sex either.

The Oral Gender Gap

Ok it’s not as serious a discussion as the gender pay gap – but it’s important nonetheless. Orgasms are good for your health after all!

63% of men in a recent survey said that they had received oral sex during their last encounter, vs. just 44% of women.

There are reportedly some more popular excuses from the male side: “It hurts my neck”, or You take too long to come” or “I don’t know how” (that’s what porn is for). But it seems on the whole that there is a bit of an oral mismatch between men and women giving it to their other halves – and by the way if you’re a man reading this and disagreeing – we salute you!

Is it more of a given for women to go down on men than the other way around? We don’t know – but it’s good fun for both sides to get in on the oral action.
