We love September time at the agency – the Southampton Boat Show comes to town! It’s always a pleasure to attend and we get to enjoy time with our lovely clientele once the day’s festivities are over as well.

The show will take place from 15 – 24 September and will, as ever, bring a dazzling nautical display to Southampton’s famous shores. Here are some of the attractions we’re looking forward to this year!

Southampton Boat Show Attractions

The Kaskelot, one of the largest remaining wooden ships in commission was built in Denmark in 1948 and commissioned by the Royal Greenland Trading Company until after the 1960’s when it became a sail training vessel. Visitors will get the chance at this year’s show to climb aboard and explore her historic decks as one of the main attractions.

Attendees will also get the chance to enjoy an exhilarating experience on board a 72ft round the world ocean race yacht as part of a 12 strong team. This experience lasts 90 minutes.

The RNLI are returning too – and will be displaying their lifesaving Atlantic 85 Inshore Lifeboat.
