We always have a fabulous time here every year! The Southampton Boat Show is coming in September and we’ve got a round up of what’s in store…           

When and What?

Taking place from 13^th – 22^nd September, the festival is Britain’s biggest and best for boating. Enjoy the water – from sports, rides, hires, accessories and more, and experience the sea in a whole new way.

Attractions

2019 attractions include a plethora of different boats – from dinghys to super yachts – to browse and enjoy. Over 600 marine brands will be exhibiting too.

Some specific attractions that will be available for you to take part in are:

• Try-a-dive in the diving pool where you can get to grips with scuba whatever your experience level. Sessions are 15 – 20 minutes and all equipment is provided for participants
• Watersports – dinghy sailing, paddle-boarding and bell-boating are there for the taking! Bring towels and claim your hour on the water with this fun activity
• Try a luxurious, high speed boat with the Try-a-boat opportunities – high-speed RIBs and sail boats are available – it’s incredibly popular though and first come first served, all are welcome!
• Then on a smaller scale, try some radio sailing! Free to all visitors, participants can race or sail in a relaxed, fun environment

Refreshments

There will also be a rum and gin bar to enjoy a drink or two as you set sail! A Guinness bar will be present for beer lovers too and an ocean scene mini-cruise if you’re feeling romantic 😉
