As we (hopefully) kiss goodbye to the rain and say hello to the sun, read on for some fabulous events taking place around the South of England these summer months.

Taking place every weekend until 11^th August there will be live music playing at The Bandstand in West Battery Gardens, Portsmouth. The event is free and the musical performances will be in an array of styles – from steel bands to live orchestras.

Portsmouth Seafood Festival

Taking place from 28^th to 30^th June, get your fill of culinary delights from the sea at the Portsmouth Seafood Festival. The event is free and guests can see chefs live in action as well as sampling delicacies themselves.

Matilda the Musical at Southampton

This classic story is coming to the stage in Southampton. Playing from 21^st June to 6^th July 2019 at th Mayflower Theatre, enjoy the tale in all its musical glory. This award winning performance from the Royal Shakespeare Company is sure to delight!

The Southampton Thai Festival

Lastly, taking place on 6^th July, enjoy Thai food, entertainment and culture at Hoglands Park this summer. Celebrate and experience an authentic taste of this gorgeous culture.
