Sex Linked Strongly to Happiness Plus Other Naughty News…

In the news this week a decline in happiness in the US has been strongly linked to a lack of sex, whilst new numbers have been published around the use of drugs with sex among heterosexuals and homosexuals in the UK. Read on for the latest…

Sex Makes Us Happy

It’s been proven before and it will be again! 🙂 A comprehensive scientific study in the US has suggested that people who have sex once a week are markedly happier than those who do not. In fact, respondents having sex frequently are 35% more likely to report being very happy.

Additionally, adults reporting no sex at all in the last year has increased to 14% for young women (aged 25 to 34) and 22% for young men of the same age.

Interestingly, the frequency of sex is also declining as a whole – the proportion of respondents having sex once a week has fallen from 59%  in 1972 to 49% in 2018, with this fall steeper in men.

The UK Combining Drugs with Sex

The UK has reportedly the highest number of people most likely to combine drugs with sex. Cocaine, MDMA and mephedrone are all drugs likely to be used to enhance intercourse (personally we don’t see the need!) – with cannabis listed as the least likely.

Alcohol was also used in combination with sex by 58% of male respondents and 60 of female respondents. Ketamine and Poppers were cited too.

Homosexual men were 1.6 times more likely to use drugs with sex as heterosexuals. 22,000 respondents from the US, Canada, the UK, Australia and Europe were asked.

Intimate time with others is enjoyable enough without the need to supplement it with anything other than you and your partner/s! And… it’s good for you so, go on – have a look at our ladies page for beautiful escorts across the South of England.
